Job Description

A Postdoctoral research position at the University of Notre Dame is anticipated beginning May 2012 to conduct research under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Pratt on a project involving radio frequency sensors. The research will involve characterizing radio frequency signals and developing/evaluating receiver signal processing algorithms. A substantial experimental component to the research is anticipated. A background in electromagnetic wave propagation theory will be useful, but a systems background, working knowledge of digital signal processing and demonstrated technical excellence and self-motivation are more important. The duration of the position is a minimum of 12 months with annual renewal possible.
