| Job Description Responsibilities: - Develop a point-of-care device for broad-based pathogen detection - Responsible for the development of Lab-on-a-chip for amplification and detection of DNA in bodily fluid - Experimental design and assay development for PCR on a Chip - Work with the multi-disciplinary team for integration and prototype development - Pre-clinical and clinical validation studies Requirement: - PhD in Chemistry/Biomedical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry or other relevant principals, fresh PhDs are encourage to apply - Knowledge in molecular biology including PCR technique, SNP, and RNA and DNA analysis - Experience with lab-on-a-chip, microarrays, microfluidic devices - Experience in assay development at microfluidic scale (e.g., PCR, enzyme kinetics, proteomics) - Experience in infectious diseases/clinical research is an added advantage
