Postdoctoral Fellow in Nucleic Acid Chemistry
Applicants are invited for a PostDoc position at the Life and Medical Sciences (LIMES) Institute of the University of Bonn/Germany. You will join an interdisciplinary team, working in the field of Chemical Biology and DNA-Nanotechnology. The position is funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The successful candidate will be engaged in the development of molecular machines based on interlocked DNA-architectures.

The optimal candidate holds a Ph.D. in chemistry and has a strong theoretical and practical background in organic synthesis, in particular in the field of oligonucleotides and analouges. Applicants should demonstrate a record of creativity and scientific productivity. We expect the successful candidate to contribute to the realization of ingenious, functional DNA-architectures.

Application deadline is 9th of March. The position will be filled as soon as possible. The initial period of employment is 2 years, with the possibility of later extension. Salary is at E13 level according to the TV-L scale.
