A post-doctoral position is available for highly motivated candidates with a background in bioinformatics and/or computational biology to join a research group interested in identifying mechanisms of tumor response and resistance to targeted therapy in brain tumors. Projects will involve the integrative analysis of human tumors and mouse tumor models characterized using high-throughput technologies including massively parallel sequencing and proteomics. The aim is to identify candidate drugs or drug combinations suitable to molecularly-defined tumor subclasses through preclinical studies. Applicants should hold a PhD and/or MD degree and have significant experience in computer programming and computational biological applications. Special consideration will be given to candidates who also have a strong background in statistics or experience in cancer biology and genetics.
