Job Description | A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of pain and synaptic transmission and plasticity. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience and peer-reviewed publications in patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, high-throughput analysis related to epigenetics, and applying functional proteomics to the study of signal transduction. Ongoing studies include epigenetic control of chronic pain, protein-protein interactions in ion channel regulation, and neural control of circulation in essential hypertension.
