We currently emphasize on SNP variant analyses, expression studies withTaqMan, direct sequencing and subsequent statistical analysis, but wepursue in vitro functional analyses in neuronal cell systems in parallel.
The work is embedded in the division with multidisciplinary projectgroups using high throughput technology for genomics and proteomics.
DKFZ wish to increase the proportion of female scientists and stronglyencourage applications of qualified women. With equal qualifications, handicapped individuals will be considered preferentially.
Profile:
Applicants should hold a PhD or an equivalent degree and have aexcellent track record in molecular/cellular biology. Expertise in thefield of complex diseases, experimental skills in SNP analysis, andstatistical data analysis are an advantage.
