外科医师

Duties:
1.Assists in routine pre-examination procedures including assessing andrecording objective and subjective data concerning presenting condition.Updates and maintains a patient record by ordering laboratory tests andimaging investigations, assisting in coding, and other tasks asassigned. Performs medication reconciliation and fills in past medical history.
2. Provides medical and surgical care to inpatients, such as daily wardround, ordering medications, assisting in specialty care and symptommanagement, monitoring for compliance and the effects of care managementwith high risk patients, and writing medical notes.
3. Closely coordinates with hospitalists or physicians in inpatient careto implement multidisciplinary care when needed.
4. Assists in surgical procedures, including pre-operative checks;intra-operative assisting in surgeries; and post-operative care procedures.
5. Assists in patient education, educate on prescriptions and teach thepatient and family, coordinate and ensure continuity of care.
6. Works closely with hospitalists, nurses and administrators for bettercare of the patients.
7. Understands necessary computer functions in the office setting, suchas Electronic Medical Records, and any other necessary.
8. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and ensures patient’srights in accordance with the policies in Jiahui Health.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experiences and skills:
1.Sound interpersonal skills to communicate efficiently and effectively
2.Knowledge and skills in primary care, able to handle ward patient effectively
3.Proficient in the use of medical, diagnostic and surgical facility equipment
4.Surgical skills such as assisting in surgery preferred
5.Sub specialty knowledge preferred
6.Fluency in both oral and written English and/or fluency in both oraland written Chinese.
