职责描述:
Enhance knowledge, critical thinking, skills and competence of nurseswho provide care on the clinical units. Develop, implement and evaluateclinical-based education to meet the competency and learning needs of atall levels of nurses. Participate in nursing initiative andevidence-based nursing practices to maintain quality of nursing care andgood patient outcome.
a. Develop, implement and evaluate clinical-based education to meet thecompetency and learning needs of all levels of nurses.
b. Facilitate induction, supervise and support nursing students, newgraduate Registered Nurses (RNs) and newly employed nurses within theunit by delivering an appropriate induction and Continuing NursingEducation programme. This will require preceptoring of nurses.
c. Perform clinical supervision and regular assessment of nurses*competencies to ensure achievement of targets set.
d. Collaborate with the Nurse Leaders and take the lead withlearning-needs assessment; planning, implementation and evaluation ofcompetency-based educational and training initiatives.
e. Collaborate with the Nurse Managers (NMs), Nurse Clinicians (NCs) andother NES on any relevant staff development, clinical-based in-serviceand Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) for the clinical units and hospitals.
f. Design curriculum, incorporating active and creative learningmethods, evaluation and innovation in nursing education.
g. Role model the desired team and leadership behaviours.
h. Update and maintain training statistics.
i. Perform other assigned duties as required.
任职要求:
Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)/China Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate.
Diploma in Nursing/Degree Qualification.
Post-Basic Specialty Certificate/Advanced Diploma in Nursing
Nursing Administration/Management/Advanced Leadership Diploma (desirable).
Completed the following courses: Assessors’ and Preceptors’ Course.
Skills & Knowledge
At least 2-4 years’ experience as a Nnrse Educator II, or 2-4 years’experience as a Nurse Manager II, Minimal 13-15 years’ nursing work experience.
Performance rating ≥3.8 for 2 consecutive years,or performance ratingabove or equal to expericed level in previously hospital.
Specialty experience preferred.
Knowledge of current trends in nursing practice.
Experience as a preceptor/nurse clinician/clinical nurse educator preferred.
Desired leadership behaviour demonstrated.
Clinical & technical competency.
Coaching and mentoring ability.
Ability to lead/work in teams.
