Summary of Responsibilities:
The position plays a key role in providing care to adolescents,children, and infants. Able to offer care for children from birththrough their late teens, often collaborating with the physicians tohelp with families of their options, problems, fears, and concerns fortheir child, as well as to promote optimum health and manage both acuteand chronic ailments. Involve in immunization planning and implementation.
• Monitor and record patient’s vital signs.
• Administer medications with supervision of preceptor or higher-level nurses.
• The ability to perform basic nursing skills such as IV insertion,drawing blood, and urine sample collection.
• Familiar with immunization schedule and able with immunizationplanning under supervision of higher level nurses.
• Take care of patient with supervision of a preceptor or higher-level nurses.
• Escort patients to and from various locations within or outside GZUfor treatment.
• Able to perform requisition and inventory of medical supplies.
• Maintain medical equipment cleanliness used in direct patient care.
• Update professional knowledge to meet hospital needs
• Able to provide treatment for patient.
• Able to identify and report abnormal clinical signs during patient care
• Administer medications with supervision of higher-level nurses.
• In charge of patient care independently after approved by departmentcharge nurses, with higher level nurses are a reachable if needed.
• Familiar with immunization schedule and able with immunization planning.
• Cooperate well with medical staff involved on duty as well as related department.
• Update professional knowledge to meet hospital needs.
• Able to provide proper patient education regarding pediatric common disease.
• Able to works well with cross-department arrangement.
• Observe and document pertinent information that reflects the patient’sclinical condition.
• Advocacy interaction with physician and patient to ensure a safe andquality care and treatment.
• Perform or supervise treatment and administers medications asrequired.
• Cooperate in maintaining safety and strict control over high alertmedications.
• Able to identify and solve the problem during department developmentand report as needed.
• Respond to any clinical critical and urgent situation and complaints.
• The knowledge and ability to discuss the psychological impact of achild’s disease with family.
• Institute emergency procedures in the absence of a physician to offsetlife-threatening situations; maintains the defined institution’spolicies and procedures.
• Competent to take special responsibilities and roles as assigned byHN, Such as Preceptor, IC nurse, Department Trainer.
• Audit nursing documentation for level I and level II nurses, and helpthem to improve nursing documentation.
• Act as charge nurse in the department.

Qualifications:
• Licensing Needed -- Registered nurse in China
• Minimal Education Requirement - Associated degree in Nursing.
• Life supports Certification base on UFH Policy requirement.
Skills:
• Adequate nursing skills based on clinical needs.
• Adequate communication skills both in Chinese and in English.
• Capable to assist physician and provide nursing care to patient independently.
• Professionalism and positive work attitude.
Knowledge:
• Understand hospital policies and procedures.
