岗位职责:
Responsibilities: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
- Gives priorities and work for in-patient billing related cases,besides below work lists
- Is responsible for personnel management to include proper training fornew staff and the effective allocation of manpower to optimize claimsprocessing and collection recovery
- Ensures patient charges are captured, entered correctly and submitsclaims on regular schedule to insurance carriers to ensure promptprocessing and payment
- Researches and resolves billing issues - Maintains and Improvesprocess workflow
- Selects, trains, counsels and evaluates employee performance to meetbilling goals
- Maintains and updates policies and procedures pertaining for billing operations.
- Maintains for easy reference access by staff and for training &development of new staff
- Delegates duties to ensure efficient utilization of department personnel
- Is responsible for all premium billings, credit applications andforeign offices* billing
- Implements practices to improve department efficiency in all areas
- Coordinates filing and storage of billing records
- Communicates to departments for billing issues
- Ensure all department deadlines are met
- Other tasks assigned
任职资格:
Qualifications: College degree with two years’ supervisory experienceMedical insurance and billing experience preferred Skills:
-Excellent oral English and written English
-Excellent supervisory skills along with strong communication skills,written and oral.
-Should be very organized with the ability to get along well withdiverse personalities.
-Excellent analysis skills and problem solving abilities as well as, ahigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.
-Ability to coach and provide leadership to staff.
-Strong computer skills in word processing and spreadsheetapplications.
-Ability to assimilate new information in a timely manner.
-Must work well under pressure and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Ability to retrieve, review, analyze data and convey informationsuccinctly, both written and verbal.
-Ability to review, process, distribute, and summarize information onlarge quantities of detailed complex verbal and written information.
Knowledge:
-Knowledge of computer, especially on Microsoft excels and word.
-Knowledge of customer services
-Knowledge of hospital charging, coding , insurance billing procedure
-Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance industry
