岗位职责:
Responsibilities: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
• Overall responsible for the supervision over Patient Registration,Charge Entry, and Cashier Teams.
• Responsible for personnel management to include proper training fornew staff and the effective allocation of manpower to
optimize revenue collection and minimize costs.
• Maintains and updates policies and procedures pertaining to the frontline operations.
• Maintains records of training for easy reference which can be accessedfor the training & development of new staff
• Maintains costs and expenses at a minimum to ensure budgetary compliance
• Responsible for delegating duties to ensure efficient utilization ofdepartment personnel
• Responsible for implementing practices to improve departmentefficiency in all areas
• Solves difficult problems that the supervisors cannot.
• Ensures all department deadlines are met and communicates with theother departments regarding revenue collection issues
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service andensuring that Cashiers / Registration Officer are properly
trained to interact effectively with Patients on financial matters
• Responsible to ensure that Patient information – both demographic andfinancial – captured in iPMs is both complete and
accurate.
• Responsible to ensure that all complaints/occurrence reports directlyrelated to the Front line Operations are adequately
followed up and resolved on a timely basis.
• Ensures that Collection targets for Co-Pays and Deductibles are metand that all Insurance documentation is delivered to the
Collections department in a timely manner
任职资格:
• 3-5 years working experience in a healthcare ,or customer service orbusiness environment preferred
• College degree
• At least two years’ supervisory experience
• Excellent oral and written English
• Computer skills: experienced with MS Office and Health InformationSystem Software
• Excellent supervisory skills required
• Strong organization skills needed
• Excellent analytical & problem solving abilities as well as a highlevel of accuracy and attention to detail
• Exercises initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making toachieve organizational objectives
• Culturally sensitive attitude and can communicate effectively with adiverse group of people
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance industry preferred
• Working knowledge of pre-certification/billing/collection process
• Knowledge of commercial insurance industry procedures
• Understanding of financial accounting concepts / cash handlingsecurity procedures
