3.Treatment delivery: Leads technical oversight of the delivery ofproton therapy (by radiation therapists), including tra********competency an********.
4.Quality an********: Leads all on-going quality assurance proceduresan******** specific to proton therapy. Key participant in Department’sSafety an******** Committee.
5.Staff oversig******** Direct oversight over all senior an********physicists dedicate******** the proton therapy program. In addition toemployment respons******** this includes career development an********education. Indirect oversight of all radiation therapists (or leader)dedicate******** proton therapy.
6.Recruitmen******** In collaboration with Department lea******** leadsrecruitment of physicists specific to the proton therapy program.
7.Training an********: In collaboration with Department lea********develops pre-operational training plan for phys******** an********. Keycontributor to ongoing proton education for relate********, includingformal training programs develope******** for particle therapy.
8.Proton researc******** After achieving initial deployment expectationsof proton serv******** collaborates with Department leadership todevelop research strategy an******** relate******** proton therapy.
Qualification********
1.M.S. in Physics or Medical Phys******** 8 years minimum clinicalexper******** certifie******** therapeutic radiological physics(American Boar******** Radiology or American Boar******** MedicalPhysics).
2.Minimum 5 years of experience in proton therapy (******** qualityassurance, an******** planning using scattere******** pencil beamscanning techniques), including 3 years at a senior physicist level.
