Patient Care: Interpersonal engagement and connection with the patientand/or family.
1. Assess plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of patientsthroughout the hospitalization.
2. Document accurately and concisely the care provided and its outcome.
3. Carry out investigation and treatment prescribed by the physician.
4. Communicate and discuss patient’s response to treatment and progresswith physician and nursing colleagues assigned to patient.
5. Participate actively in physician’s round.
6. Prepare and assist physician with procedures.
7. Collaborate and co-operate with physicians and other health careproviders in the smooth delivery of patient care and service.
8. Follow - up to ensure continuity of patient care and treatment plan.
9. Deliver safe and competent nursing care.
10. Demonstrate clinical skills, knowledge and critical thinking in thedelivery of patient care.
11. Provide patient / family information and education on diseaseprevention, process and rehabilitation.
12. Manage complex patient care in critical care area.
13. Maintain and care in the use of the equipment and supplies.

Knowledge and Skills: Skill attained through formal and experiential knowledge.
1. Modify interventions based on a deep understanding of patient andfamily needs attained through past experiences.
2. Participate in interdisciplinary forums that promote an integratedapproach to patient care.
3. Implement unique and innovative approaches to meeting patient,family and practice concerns.
4. Lead / coordinate activities that impact the quality of care on theunit and / or patient population.
5. Act as a resource to colleagues in relation to a patient population.
6. Skillfully negotiate conflict to promote collaboration.
7. Understand her/his role as a member of interdisciplinary care team.
8. Actively empower and advocate for patients and families to maximizetheir participation in decision-making and goal setting.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Through the effective relationship with allcolleagues and members of the health care team, the best possibleoutcome is achieved for the patient and family.
1. Require the strong capability in clinical judgement anddecision-making during the absence of nurse manager.
2. Provide guidance, direction and teaching to junior nurses andnursing students, in order to ensure that quality care rendered is toall the patients.
3. Aware of and support unit’s and colleagues’ needs through supportiveand non-judgmental behaviors.
4. Promote the development of collaborative relationships withcolleagues and peers by communicating in a constructive manner.

Qualifications:
1.Hold current PRC nursing license.
2.Minimum 8 years of clinical experience with 5 years of related acutecare settings.
3.Overseas experience preferred.
4.Valid certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) per hospital policy.
5.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, HIS.
6.Able to communicate in English.
