The Role
The Statistics team is responsible for the provision of statisticalexpertise to support the research projects conducte******** The GeorgeInstitute; this includes clinical tr******** observational stu********meta-analyses, surveys as well as teaching an******** development of newstatistical methods.
The Statistical Programmer is responsible for the analyses of medicalresearch projects conducte******** The George Institute for GlobalHealth, China or in other off******** an******** study or clinicaltrials from George affiliate******** or external organizations.
 
Reporting Relationships
The Statistical Programmer will directly report to the Head,Biostatistics an******** Management in Beijing. 
 
Duties an******** Responsibilities
·   Prepare derive******** for the analyses using SAS
·   Work in designing an******** programs to produce tables an********,an******** for study report an******** submissions base********statistical analysis plans
·   Program an******** statistical analyses in SAS
·   Prepare an******** reports for interim an******** analyses
·   Assist with the development of statistical analysis plans
·   Work in collaboration with members of stat******** data management,clinical an******** teams on preparation of summary documentssubmitte******** study sponsors an******** agencies.
·   Comply with all institute standards an******** requirements for theprogramm******** analysis an******** of research projects
·   Provide statistical expertise to the research staff base********Beijing
·   Have a key role in the research ******** ******** an******** ofrelevant current or new studies
·   Ability of analyse data an******** manuscripts that are suitable forpublication
·   Assist with the preparation of grant applications as required

·   Graduate qualifications in Statistics or Epidemiology
·   Minimum 1-year experience in statistical programming for medicalresearch 
·   Familiarity with SAS programming with excellent knowledge of SAS 9.2environment an******** operating systems
·   Proficiency in the use of basic SAS tools an******** such as SASBASE, SAS/STAT, SAS/MACRO, PROC REPORT TABULATE, ODS an********statistical proce******** an********.
·   Understanding of data management principles for clinical trialsan******** research
·   Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trialsan******** research
·   Strong focus on quality an******** delivery of work.
·   Well organize******** goo******** management skills
·   Strong problem solving an******** skills
·   Excellent interpersonal skills with high level of proficiency inEnglish
·   Ability to work well an******** ie. autonomously, in small teamsan******** a wide range of varying stakeholders
