诺贝尔奖得主朱尔斯 . 霍夫曼教授广州医科大学广州霍夫曼研究所招收博士研究生

2011年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖得主朱尔斯 . 霍夫曼（Prof. JulesHoffmann）教授在广州医科大学广州霍夫曼研究所招收博士研究生。朱尔斯.霍夫曼教授是斯特拉斯堡大学的终身教授以及法国国家科学院院士。他致力于昆虫天然免疫反应相关的基因以及分子通路机制研究。霍夫曼教授课题组揭示了果蝇抵抗病原体入侵的天然免疫机制，其同行课题组之后发现此机制在哺乳动物上非常保守。这一重要发现使得人们重新审视天然免疫机制的重要性。由于这一重要发现，霍夫曼教授与Bruce A. Beutler an******** M. Steinman同年被授予诺贝生理学或医学奖。
