Responsibilitie********

• Assist the development of the Department Budgets in line with existingprocesses, to carry out the strategy an******** optimize efficiencies;
• Make recommendations for maintaining an******** an******** the qualityof care provide******** the Department by developing pathways an********guidelines in a collaborative manner, an******** application an********of them within the Department;
• Assist the development of a quality monitoring an******** improvementprogram

• Submit written reports to the CMO or designee concerning the findingsof the Department’s patient care evaluation an******** activities (e.g.,Peer Review cases) an******** resulting actions;

• Continuously review the cre******** privileges an******** of allphysicians with clinical privileges an******** services in theDepartment, an******** report the findings of such reviews to the CMO ordesignee;
• Transmit recommendations concerning clinical pr********specifie********, or corrective action with respect to physicians in thedepartment to the CMO or designee;
• Ensure ongoing medical education for the medical staff in theDepartment;
• Work closely with facility Regulatory Officers to ensure practicepatterns meet an******** to regulatory requirements within Chinaan******** Municipality;
• Work closely with facility Regulatory Officers ensuring thatappropriate employees are kept informe******** developments within theregulatory env******** including planne******** existing regulations;
• As a member of the MAB, provide input on medical policies of thehosp******** an******** specific recommendations regarding her or hisown department;
• Enforce medical staff bylaws, rules, regulat******** an******** withinthe Department, an******** investigations of clinical performance ororder consultat******** when necessary;
• Implement any actions taken by the MAB and/or the managementboar******** the Department
• Generally participate in every phase of administration in theDepartment, such as cooperating with nursing services an******** inmatters affecting patient care, including personnel, suppl********special regulat******** standing or******** an********;
• Assist in the preparation of 2 monthly reports pertaining to the CMOor ******** GM, or MAB, including budgetary planning reports, asrequired;
• Meet regularly (at least monthly) with the CMO or designee;
• Develop a strong Assistant Department Cha******** who isaligne******** the strategic th******** planning an******** for theDepartment.
• Where relevant, support UFH Centres, including research, tra********disaster rel******** an******** care.

Qualification********
• Doctor of Medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approve******** ofmedicine
• Boar******** (or equivalent) in Radiology
• In possession of an active Chinese Medical License
• Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience at a clinical administrativelevel preferred;
• Previous leadership position******** hel******** similar sized (orlarger) environment
Education an********: Knowledge an****************
• Must be a full member of the Medical Staff as define******** theMedical Staff By-Laws;
• Previous exper******** training an******** knowledge of managementtechniques with proven successful service within a medical staffstructure preferred;
• Fluency in English essential; Chinese fluency preferred
