Duties include:
• Routine primary health care to Peace Corps Trainees an********including treatment of common illnesses an******** in accordance withPeace Corps medical guidelines
• Individual short-term counseling on disease prevent******** adjustment******** stress management an********-cultural problems
• Response to emergency medical situations
• Site visits to Peace Corps Volunteers in S******** Chong********Guizhou an********
• Design an******** of health training sessions
• Administrative tasks of the medical office including inventory ofmedical supplies an********
• Alternate 24 hour on- call duty with the other PCMO
• Coordination an******** with all Peace Corps medical staff
Qualifications an****************
• Graduate of accredite******** school

• Current license to practice
• Relevant 5 years’ clinical experience in primary care
• A family physician with 3 years of residency training is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral /written English.
• Experience in managing mental health issues including counseling ofpatients
• Ability to work effectively as part of an intercultural team
• Har******** reliable an******** with goo********-personal skills
• Willing to travel to sites in S******** Gansu, Chong******** Guizhou
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
