Summary of Responsibilitie********
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will be responsible to the CEO for allaspects of the management an********-ordination of clinical activitiesin the hospital an******** including diagnostic an******** services butexcluding nursing services. The post will also carry corporateresponsibility as a member of the Executive Boar******** the overallperformance an******** of the hospital.
The CMO is responsible for the leadership an******** of the medicalworkforce an******** services provide******** doctors. He/ She willensure that the highest standards of medical practice arefollowe******** the hospital through utilisation of evidence an********an******** in collaboration with colleagues from other organisations todevelop effective networks. This includes all relevant operat********developmental an******** matters.
The CMO will ensure that medical staff within the hospital have therange of skills to enable them to deliver services to the highestquality an******** contribute to the strategic leadership an******** ofthe hospital.

The CMO will be a corporate member of the Hospital ExecutiveBoar******** will be responsible for reporting on all medical staffissues within the hosp******** especially patient safety an********development an******** of best-practice care pathways.
The Medical Director is expecte******** develop key workingrelationships with the IHG Hea******** Team, Hospital Executive Board,C-Suite Off******** Department Managers, as well as senior members ofthe medical an******** staff. Developing goo******** with local staffan******** community in general are paramount.
The Medical Director will also establish effective an******** workingrelationships (in conjunction with the CEO) with the civic leadersan******** local Hospital Committee as well as medical staff.

Education:

Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership capacity atanother private high-en********, preferably in China.
• 5 years’ experience in medical practice post training.
• Demonstrable experience in leading clinical services in an environmentsuch as Ch******** where the default operating environment an******** ofthe patient differs from the international norm.
• A change agent an******** of guiding the organisation in initiatingvarious change management initiatives with the view of leadingan******** the organisation towards the future.
• Three years’ experience in implementation or support of internationalquality systems in private hosp******** preferably in an Asianenvironment
• Strong managerial acumen in setting corporate directions an********strategic goals aroun******** plans.
• Experience in managing risk / complaint cases in a high-en********hospital
