Key Responsibilities

As part of the sports medicine team, the orthopedic surgeon will:

I. Commissioning function
• Advise in medical equipment an******** selection;
• Review tender specifications for medical equipment an********an******** assessment of tender proposals as needed;
• Assist in charge-master set up
• Prepare sports medical services by evaluating patient care protocols;researching an******** emerging trends.
II. Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide safe, competent an******** patient care to surgery patients;
• Patient notes nee******** be complete******** an******** for thepurpose of care’s integrity an********;
• Educate the patient , or the patient's support system ,on thetreatment process;
• Consult with other health care profess******** including phys********occupational therapists an******** workers to offer a patient the best,most holistic care possible.
• Teach the group lessons about sports medicine relate********.
• Assist to assure sports medicine quality services by establishingan******** departmental quality assurance program including monitoringof quality ******** documenting actions taken to resolve problems,an******** to the medical care evaluation committee in accordance withJIC standards
