• Responsible for the comparative ophthalmology program within the LabAnimal Resource Group to support study relate********.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the comparative ophthalmology program to ensure study needsare met.
• Provide regular didactic an******** training to improve staffproficiency in comparative ophthalmology an******** toxicology.
• Perform ocular examinations on all animal species before an********preclinical studies as require******** study protocol as required.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures such as ocular an******** **************** surgery, photography, an******** specialty proceduresassociate******** model creation an******** conduct as required.
• Function as Contributing Scientist on animal studies an********reports.
• Provide professional expert******** communicating with Study Directorsan********.
• Assist the veterinary staff with managing ocular clinical casesan******** treatment as needed.
• On an as neede********, develop training material an******** newtechniques an******** associate******** ocular studies as part ofResearch an******** within the department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree in comparative me******** ophthalmologyor equivalent area; Board-Certification in specialty fiel********desirable;
• Experience in CRO or pharmaceutical laboratory working with a varietyof animal models pertaining to ocular pharmacology/toxicology;
• Goo******** of quality systems an********;
• Ability to make clinical judgments an******** scientific input inpreclinical studies with ocular components;
• Strong lea******** communication an******** skills.
