Position Summary:
As Illumina has driven down the cost of whole human genome sequencing toa $1,000, never before has the opportunity to utilize next generationsequencing to improve human health been greater. As part ofeffort to globalize translational medicine research using NGS, Illuminaestablishes a collaboration center in China. The Illumina CollaborationCenter will foster the development of a collaborative ecosystem withChina’s leading sc******** renowne******** centers, domestic an********ent******** an******** entrepreneurs to drive the demonstration ofresearch an******** applications of NGS to catalyze the evolution ofprecision medicine in China. Main Responsibilitie********
• Establish an******** the center facility. Work with Illumina Facilityan******** collaborators to buil******** state-of-art genome facility inChina that include a wet lab, a sequencing fac******** an********secure******** independent network. Ensure the facility is functioningat the highest level of reliability.
• Hire an******** the center with highest quality scientists an********.
• Buil******** collaborative relationships with Illumina R&Dfunctions an******** Units. Identify opportunities for technologytransfer an******** with China.
• Identify an******** productive collaborations with renowne********researchers in China.

Requiremen********
• Proven track recor******** building an******** a lab fac********especially a sequencing facility.
• Proven track recor******** having successfully execute********an******** development projects especially clinical assays using NGS.
• Extensive hands on experiences in clinical assay ******** preferablyusing NGS as a tool.
•Deep understanding of NGS technolog******** an******** that can beuse******** clinical studies.
• Experience in oncology is highly desirable.
• Experience in bioinformatics is a plus.
