Health Outcomes Senior Scientist

Purpose:
The purpose of Senior Health Outcomes Scientist is to provide scientificsupport on health outcomes (HO) research activities within the medicaldepartment as well as activities relate******** the access of ourproducts into the local market by:
• Technical Lea******** Health Outcomes in China working collaborativelywith Global Health Outcomes (GHO) function
• Leading the development an******** of HO strategies that effectivelysupport pr******** an******** access objectives in China
• Support the Health Outcomes Scientist(s) in their technicaldevelopment
• Provide Chinese input into Global HO plan
• Manage the efficient an******** development of HO deliverables (valuemessages, publ******** an******** economic models)
• Provide HO support for Key Account Management an******** customerinitiatives
• Develop an******** research partnerships with aca******** thoughtlea******** other customers, an******** research organizations toenhance the impact of HO projects
• Facilitate the communication of research results to customers throughinteraction with key internal customers

• Primary support in China for Health Outcome Scientist an******** Chinaemployees’ technical career development.
• Ensure staff receives necessary scientific guidance in ep********cl******** economic an******** an******** develops an******** healthoutcomes research agenda that supports price/reimbursemen******** ofLilly products at launch, an******** the product matures in themarketplace.
• Ensure appropriate consistency in performance management evaluationsthrough effective collaboration with functional leadership.

Development of Health Outcomes Research Studie********
• Designing & conducting studies to evaluate the value of new healthcare interventions. Studies include evaluation of resource ut********health-relate******** of life (HRQL) an******** patient-reporte********(PROs). Experience in statistical methodologies.
• Discuss an******** inputs regarding clinical plan, protocol designan******** follow-up with global/regional cluster.
• Write an******** manuscripts to peer-reviewe******** journals. Presentresearch at scientific conferences.
Health Economics Researc********
• Responsible for defining the health economics strategy an********driving the design an******** of HE documentation to optimize marketaccess (pr******** reimbursement an******** listing) of currentan******** pharmaceuticals
• Develop health economic models including cost-effectiveness an**************** provide technical writing support for scientific commun********an******** scientific presentations of the health economic studies.
• Hands on experience in developing health economic models usingTreeAge, Excel, or similar decision analysis software.
Support PRA (Pr******** Reimbursement an********) relate********
• Play a strategic role in market access relate******** by contributingto project teams in the development of price positioning an********strategies an******** with information on healthcare ******** re********payment systems an******** evaluation in China.
• Responsible for building knowledge aroun******** Economics an********research within the organization through educational activities. Stronglinkages with academia in China an******** in technical externalorganizations (ie ISPOR, HTAI, iHEA).
