General Job Description
The Director of Nutrition an******** Services is responsible for alladministrative an******** aspects of Nutrition & Foo******** atJHIH. The Director ensures a high level of customer service an********sat******** excellent work culture an******** effective management ofall aspects of the service. Responsible for all inpatien********nutrition support programs, patient foo********-relate********;including IT system’s database management, any software enhancement,quality ******** san******** infection control, an********hospital-relate********.
Duties an********
Utilizing knowledge of the latest healthcare food, nutr********an******** tren******** oversees the development of department strategicpriorities an******** policie********, with a focus on best practices infoo********, efficiency in pro******** best san******** foo********controls, foo********, etc. Collaborates with others in administrativeleadership in defining the strategic an******** plan for department.Communicate plans an******** evaluate plans.
Applies knowledge of clinical nutr******** with emphasis on the needs ofvarious levels of acute care pat******** to all policy developmentan******** making for the department in line with JHIH’s missionan******** values.
Oversees department's performance improvement initiatives an********training in preparation for JCAHO/ISO22000 cert******** local FDA******** an******** other regulatory agency requirements.
To develop an******** effective relationships with JHIH’s departmentheads an******** staff. Work closely with multi-disciplinary team,including but not limite********, nurs******** case management,ancillary serv******** environmental services an********’s medicalstaff.
Oversees the development an******** of the department budget. Developproductivity key ******** identify cost savings an******** foo********within the operation. Manage of labor expenses against productivity.
Provide oversight for all personnel actions in the department ********but not limite********, recru******** performance management,professional ******** career a******** work schedule******** ********employee recor******** etc. Demonstrate strong superv********lea******** management an******** skills.
Establish effective relationships with external agencies providingservices to the organization. In the case of contract foo********operat******** is responsible to ensure contract operators’ complianceto JHIH’s standar******** practice in terms of foo******** an********.
Responsible for the development an******** of critical control points inthe departmental HACCP (Hazar******** Critical Control) plan an********of such plan to ensure compliance.
Working with software provider for the development an******** ofstaff/nursing training programs on the departmental IT system.
Responsible for the effective an******** operation offoo**************** within JHIH in terms of foo****************,standardize********, work ergonom******** safe work env********equipment training/maintenance…etc.
Responsible for developing an******** inpatien******** nutritioneducation programs an******** to achieve a high level of clientsatisfaction.
Expan******** grow community nutrition programs with a focus on staffan******** health.
Responsible for implementation an******** value-adde********/foodserviceprograms for JHIH.
Develop performance indicators an******** measures in the variousprograms an******** accordingly.
Perform other relate******** incidental to the work describe********.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Foo******** Technology/Management, HospitalityManagement, D******** Nutrition or relate******** is required.

Experience: Minimum three years of leadership an******** experience inclinical dietetics an******** service management in North America orTaiwan healthcare setting is required. Additional local healthcareexperience is a plus.

Degrees, L******** and/or Certification: Registere******** with theAmerican Dietetic Association or equivalent strongly preferred.
ServSafe or HACCP Certified
