一、研究组简介
病原菌定量基因组学研究组致力于开发分析大规模基因组数据集的新方法,从历史、功能、医学、生态和进化 的角度理解高度重组的细菌物种的遗传变异的原因和后果。DanielFalush教授毕业于剑桥大学和伦敦大学学院,并曾在东京大学、马克斯普朗克研究所(德国)和牛津大学工作;自2019年以来,一直担任课题组负责人。他在高影响期刊(Science、Nature、PLoSGenetics、ELife)上发表了80多篇论文, 并曾获得国家自然科学基金会外籍人才资助等奖项。
The Statistical Genomics of Bacterial Pathogens Research Unit developsnew methods for analyzing large scale genomic datasets. We aim tounderstand the causes and consequences of genetic variation in highlyrecombining bacterial species from historical, functional, medical,ecological, and evolutionary perspectives. Prof. Falush graduated fromUniversity of Cambridge and University College London, and has worked atthe University of Tokyo, the Max Planck Institute (Germany), and theUniversity of Oxford. He has published more than 80 papers inhigh-impact journals (Science, Nature, PLoS Genetics, Elife) and hasbeen awarded, for example, an NSFC Senior Foreign Talent grant. He hasbeen the group leader of The Unit of Statistical Genetics of Bacteriasince 2019.
现因工作需要,病原菌定量基因组学研究组公开招聘研究助理1人。入职后将在课题组长指导下,参与国家重点研发计划,开展大肠杆菌、艰难梭菌等移植后继发感染重要病原菌的起源、遗传学特征和入侵机制研究。
Our Group is currently recruiting one Research Assistant due to therequirements of our work. The selected candidate will work under theguidance of the group leader, participating in a MOST project. Theresearch will focus on the origin, genetic characteristics, and invasionmechanisms of important pathogens such as Escherichiacoli and Clostridioides difficile, which cause post-transplantationsecondary infections.
二、工作内容
1. 从临床样本中分离、培养病原细菌和DNA提取;
Isolation and cultivation of pathogenic bacteria and DNA extraction fromclinical samples;
2. 基于病原细菌的高通量测序数据,开展生物信息学、基因组学和分子流行病学分析和研究;
Conduct bioinformatics, genomics, and molecular epidemiology analysisand research based on high-throughput sequencing data of pathogenic bacteria;
3. 协助课题组长完成其他科研相关工作。
Assist the group leader in completing other related research tasks.
三、应聘条件
1. 具有微生物学、分子生物学、流行病学等生物医学类本科或硕士学历学位;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in biomedical disciplines such asmicrobiology, molecular biology, or epidemiology;
2. 具备细菌分离培养等实验技能,具有临床微生物学或生物信息学背景者优先;
Proficiency in experimental skills such as bacterial isolation andcultivation, with preference given to those with backgrounds in clinicalmicrobiology or bioinformatics;
3. 具备良好的英文阅读和书写能力;
Proficiency in English reading and writing;
4. 为人诚信,严谨踏实,富有较强的独立工作能力、责任心和团队合作精神。
