DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in routine pre-examination procedures including assessingand recording objective and subjective data concerning presentingcondition. Updates and maintains a patient record by ordering laboratorytests and imaging investigations, assisting in coding, and other tasksas assigned. Performs medication reconciliation and fills in pastmedical history.
2. Provides inpatient care, such as daily ward round, orderingmedications, assisting in specialty care and symptom management,monitoring for compliance and the effects of care management with highrisk patients, and writing medical notes.
3. Closely coordinates with hospitalists or physicians in inpatient careto implement multidisciplinary care when needed.
4. Performs patient care measures including dressing changes and othermeasures when required.
5. Assists in surgical procedures, including pre-operative checks;intra-operative assisting in surgeries; and post-operative care procedures.
6. The physician will assist in patient education, educate onprescriptions and teach the patient and family, coordinate and ensurecontinuity of care.
7. Understands necessary computer functions in the office setting, suchas Electronic Medical Records, and any other necessary.
8. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and ensures patient’srights in accordance with the policies in Jiahui Health.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Certificate of the completion of accredited internship trainingprogram or equivalent
Sound interpersonal skills to communicate efficiently and effectively
Knowledge and skills in primary care, able to handle ward patienteffectively
Basic surgical skills such as assisting in surgery preferred
Basic orthopedic knowledge preferred
English skills in communication preferred
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
Reading/writing medical records and documents in English
Basic oral communication with patients and other staffs in English
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Medicine or above
