岗位职责:
Primary Responsibilities:
● Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic diseases andinjuries within the scope of Internal Medicine in both the inpatient andoutpatient setting. Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains datathrough interviews. Examines patients and determines x-ray examinationsand clinical laboratory tests required. Interprets test results andevaluates examination findings. Conducts ward rounds and prescribestherapy. Administers and prescribes treatment such as antibiotics,drugs, and compresses. Performs minor surgical procedures. Determinesneed for and assists in specialized medical care and treatment. May begranted additional privileges based on documented proficiency
● Will agree to work at night shift
● Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee
● Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other Internal Medicine physicians and Department Chairperson
● Will work closely with the Department Chairperson in supportingdepartmental goals
● May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation withDepartment Chairperson.
● Following UFH’s commitment to educating the next generation of medicalprofessionals, physicians will be responsible, as part of their ongoingduties, for mentoring, precepting, teaching and supervising UFH fellowsor other relevant trainees.
● Additional job responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, departmentchair or CMO.
● Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee.
● Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other Internal Medicine physicians and Department Chairperson.
● Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics inevery aspect of his or her work and relationships.

Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine or Equivalent
Education and/or Experience:
Doctor of medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine
Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine (or Equivalent) ata hospital and program acceptable to the Chairperson and Chief Medical Officer
Minimum 3-5 years experience post-residency in the clinical arena preferred
Language Skills:
Fluency in English a preferred
Fluency in Mandarin a preferred
