Responsibilities:
• Works with Director of Family Counseling Center to ensure adequatecoverage and continuity of care.
• Provides the same level of service regardless of patient background.
• Keeps adequate and timely progress notes and client records.
• Complies with regulations and standards of performance for quality care.
• Treats patients in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Participates in professional development efforts to keep current onhealth care trends and practices.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality.
• Following UFH’s commitment to educating the next generation of medicalprofessionals, physicians will be responsible, as part of their ongoingduties, for mentoring, precepting, teaching and supervising UFH fellowsor other relevant trainees.
• Additional job responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, departmentchair or CMO.
• Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee.
• Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other physicians and Department Chairperson.
• Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics inevery aspect of his or her work and relationships.

Qualifications:
• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Residency training in an accredited institution
• Training or experience doing cross-cultural psychiatry
• Active Chinese medical license in Psychiatry.

• Skill in psychopharmacology and counseling
• Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, decision-making.
• Skill in gathering and analyzing data
• Skill in researching, preparing and presenting comprehensive reports
• Ability to work effectively with patients, medical and administrativestaff, and the public
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Works cooperatively with medical and counseling center staff
• Level headed, even-tempered and reliable
• Flexible and friendly
Knowledge:
• Current standards of practice in psychiatry
• Medical records, medical dictation, medical communications system.
• Psychiatric record-keeping
• Psychiatric inpatient treatment, crisis intervention
