岗位职责:
Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic diseases and injurieswithin the scope of Pediatrics in both the inpatient and outpatientsetting. Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data throughinterviews. Examines patients and determines x-ray examinations andclinical laboratory tests required. Interprets test results andevaluates examination findings. Conducts ward rounds and prescribestherapy. Administers and prescribes treatment such as antibiotics,drugs, and compresses. Performs minor surgical procedures. Determinesneed for and assists in specialized medical care and treatment. May begranted additional privileges based on documented proficiency
Will agree to serve on one hospital/clinic committee
Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other pediatricians, AdministrativeLeader/Chairperson and CMO
Will work closely with the Administrative Leader/Chairperson of theDepartment in supporting departmental goals
May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation withDepartment Leader/Chairperson and/or Medical Director/CMO.
