DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责:
1. Examine, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic diseases and minorinjuries of children (above 3 years of age) and adults in the emergency room
2. Obtain careful history, examine patient, and determine indication forclinical laboratory tests and imaging studies.
3. Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings
4. prescribe treatments and medications according to assessment andprovide patient education
5. Determine the need to refer to specialist for further medical careand treatment
6. Keep accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance withregulations and policies.
7. May be granted additional privileges based on documented proficiency
8. Will agree to serve on at least one hospital committee
9. Work on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other emergency physicians and Department Chairperson
10. Keep medical knowledge up to date via CME and medical activities
11. Participate in marketing and business and development events asrequired by the Chief of Service
12. Equally share call/coverage duties
13. Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients
14. Meet Standards of professional conduct and courtesy
15. Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner
16. Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested
17. Participate in Fellow training when requested
18. Attend MAO-physicians meeting, departmental meetings, Grand Round,Committee meetings and CEO meeting when asked for
