MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC (80%)
1) Provide comprehensive legal support to commercial and financialtransactions such as joint ventures, vendor and B2B transactions,leasing agreements and general corporate/commercial transactions, aswell as medico-legal issues
2) Review, draft and/or vet all relevant legal documentation to ensurecompliance and minimizing of risks to the organization
3) Attend to claims/litigation matters within stipulated timeframe
4) Keep up-to-date with any regulatory or statutory changes and policiesthat might affect the organization
5) Provide legal opinion to new business ventures
6) Assist in relevant licensing and permit applications
(B) GENERAL (20%)
1) Perform special projects or investigations when required
2) Perform any other related duties assigned by Senior Manager,General Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
1) Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university with a nationallegal professional qualification
2) 8-10 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE), with excellent trackrecord as in-house legal counsel or in private practice, with extensiveexperience in corporate/commercial transactions
3) Independent worker who is resourceful and well-versed in government relations
4) Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to quickly pinpointissues and work with the relevant stakeholders to resolve.
5) Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
6) Great team player
7) Resilient, adaptable, and meticulous.
(B) PROFESSIONAL LICENCE AND SKILL
1) English skills certificate
2) Passed the bar examination is preferred
