The jobholder is the product owner (Mini-CEO) of a product line orsegment. In this function the in-cumbent is responsible for developingthe product according to untapped market needs, taking into account theframework the product will be placed into and developing the market tomake it recep-tive for this new technology.
Product Management is responsible for product planning and productsupport throughout the prod-uct lifecycle, including: gathering andprioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the Productvision, and working closely with Product Development, Purchasing, SupplyChain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Training, Sales,Marketing and MarCom to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goalsare met. Product Management’s job also includes ensuring that theproduct supports the company´s overall strategy and goals.
Requirements / 要求
Education / 教育背景
Degree in Science (Optics, Medical Technology or similar disciplines),Engineering, MBA or equivalent in Business Administration. Medical majoras a plus
Experience /经验
3-5 years experience in product management, marketing or clinical in thehealthcare industry with minimum of 2 years working for an internationalcompany (MNC); Should feel comfortable working in a matrix organization.

Strong business sense and market development experience Knowledge ofoptics and/or micro-surgery a plus
Speaks Mandarin fluently and holds advanced proficiency in English;other languages are a plus

Strategic and operational support of product development:
Drive product innovation and, after launch, product lifecycle management
Define product requirements, offering, guide development processes
Provide coordination & technical support during productregistration processes
Sustaining and product life cycle, including product phase-out
Global market segmentation and targeting
Product positioning and pricing
Competitor analysis
Performing value analysis of functions and features
Identification of new market segments and elaboration ofdiversification strategies
Together with Business Sector Management and the Product StrategyTeam, develop long-term strategic product roadmaps and plans
Market and competitor analysis:
Obtain and evaluate information on relevant developments and trends inthe market as a basis for adjusting the positioning concept and thestrategic measures in the company by spending time with customers,evaluating lit- erature, visiting tradeshows and conferen
