The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou),(“HKUST(GZ)”), was officially approved by the Ministry of Education ofPeople’s Republic of China to enter the preparatory status in September2019. Located in Nansha, Guangzhou, the campus covers 1.13 squarekilometers and the first phase of construction is expected to becompleted by September 2022. At steady state, the number ofundergraduate and postgraduate students will reach a total of 10,000.Under the “Unified HKUST, Complementary Campuses” framework, theintended areas of focus in HKUST(GZ) will be thematic andcross-disciplinary in nature, synergistic with HKUST, a world-renownedinternational research university with innovation in her DNA. There willbe four Academic Hubs (equivalent to schools) with 16 Thrust Areas(equivalent to departments).

Duties
1. Design and fabrication of prototypes, electronic devices, and providetechnical support to the teaching and research units.
2. Provide repairing and maintenance service of electronic instrumentsto other departments.
3. Oversee the daily operation of workshop, Supports student researchand training activities.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

2. 提供各部门电子仪器设备的维修保养服务；
3. 执行电子工场的日常运作, 技术支援学生研习活动；
4. 履行领导交办的其他工作。

任职要求
Qualification Requirements
1. Major in electronic or related bachelor*s degree with over 3 years,for non-degree holder with over 6 years of relevant work experience;
2. Proficient in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of both analogand digital circuits. Master electronic component selection, schematicdesign, PCB layout, hardware testing, etc. Skilled use of oscilloscope,function signal generator, soldering iron and other tools.
3. Keen to learn various new technologies. Experience in single-chipdevelopment, C/C++/ Python and other programming, I2C, SPI, UART, CANand Modbus communication protocols is preferred.
4. Good communication and problem-solving skills; strong sense ofresponsibility;
5. Able to adapt to Chinese and English bilingual work environments.

1. 电子工程相关专业毕业，本科须具有三年以上电子工程相关工作经验, 本科以下学历须具有六年以上相关工作经验；
2. 精通模拟和数字电路的设计、制作及维修，掌握电子元件选型、原理图设计、PCB layout、硬件测试等；熟练使用示波器、函数信号发生器、电烙铁等工具；
3. 热衷于学习各种新技术，如有单片机开发，C/C++/ Python等编程语言，I2C、SPI、UART、CAN等常用总线协议、Modbus通信协议等经验者优先；
4. 具备良好的沟通及解决问题能力，责任感强；
5. 能适应中英双语工作环境。

This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered acontract by HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the Mainland laborlaws and regulations. Starting salary will be commensurate withqualifications and experience.
