1. Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
2. Prescribing tests, treatments, and/or surgery, when necessary.
3. Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, includingcomments, tests and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
4. Performing tests, when needed, to check the health of patients*hearts and/or cardiovascular systems.
5. Interpreting test results to determine how effectively the heartand/or cardiovascular system is functioning.
6. Using medical imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners, todiagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions.
7. Assisting and/or performing surgery which may include complexsurgical interventions that require a team of medical professionals.
8. Prescribing medication to treat heart and/or cardiovascular disease.
9. Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
10. Equally share call/coverage duties
11. Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients
12. Meet Standards of professional conduct and courtesy
13. Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner
14. Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested
15. Participate in Fellow training when requested
16. Attend MAO-physicians meeting, departmental meetings, Grand Round,Committee meetings and CEO meeting when asked for
