Job Title: Spa Manager
Reports To: Director of Wellness
Department: Serensia Woods Spa
To manage, train, and motivate all spa personnel. Promote and sellcustomised spa programmes to members and outside clientele. Maintainthorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering,pricing, and promotions, including sales techniques. To keep a tightcontrol on budget, staffing, costs, and profitability of the spa
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Training of spa etiquette for therapist, to enforce optimum standardsat all times.
• Oversee daily schedule of therapist in accordance with client bookings.
• Assign and control additional duties for each therapist.
• Oversee and enforce staff grooming and attitude at all times.
• To communicate with Director of Wellness and report daily regarding,staff schedule, attendances, problems and customer complaints or grievances.
• Oversee performance and development of all therapists and subordinates.
• To be aware of therapists, strengths and weaknesses in order toamplify their strengths and address their weaknesses and applyappropriate training where necessary.
• To oversee the general running of the spa..
• Work wih Manager & HR dept, to assist in recruiting qualified staff.
• Work with manager, marketing and other staff to design specialpromotion packages.
• To maintain staff discipline.
• Assist with language skill training and sourcing othertrainers/teachers etc
• To assist in all training where needed, including spa treatments andmassage techniques if applicable and necessary.
• To improve the standard operating procedures.
