Primary Responsibilities:
• To establish, develop and maintain medical scientificcollaborative relationships with current and future therapeutic expertsin spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
• To disseminate high quality complex scientific information andprovide innovative medical education content.
• To generate medical insights and provide research concepts totherapeutic experts to facilitate patient management and care.
Accountabilities:
• Facilitate medical and scientific information exchange with themedical community on SMA.
• Generate systematically medical insights and provide keylearnings to the regional Medical team on regular basis as appropriate.
• Provide Inputs to the China National Brand strategy fromregional perspective as the regional medical Lead
• Contribute to the implementation of SMA product China medical plan
• Work with Experts to develop clinical therapeutic concepts thatsupport the advancement of the medical science within Biogen´sscientific and therapeutic area of interest.
• Support the development and implementation of the internaltraining plan, monitor the plan and update knowledge of disease area.
• Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to regionalhealthcare audiences aligned with central medical education programs.
• Organize local/regional educational meetings withmultidisciplinary participation of key stakeholders in designated areaand provide key learnings to the Regional Medical team.
• Support therapeutic experts in developing concepts and protocolsfor SRAs / IITs / registries.
• Work with local patient organizations in collaboration withRegional Public Affairs to educate about the disease area and advancesin patient care.
• Develops reports /summary slide decks of important national congresses.
• Use the CRM system Veeva to report to the organization.
• Supports field commercial and corporate account efforts relatedto presenting clarity around clinical and scientific informationsupporting therapeutic decisions in patient care.
• Provision of medical information including responses tounsolicited off-label questions.
• Support appropriate screening processes to identify potentialinvestigators for Biogen initiated clinical trials, collaborate withclinical trial groups to evaluate requests and assess center capacityfor clinical studies.
Qualifications
• Master Degree or above, major in clinical medicine is preferred
• Better to 2-3 years MSL experience in MNC. Open for candidateswho currently working in hospital.
• Better to have experience in Rare Disease or Neurology.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
