职位目标
Through in-field scientific engagement with healthcare providers andexternal experts, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) fosters a moreeducated healthcare environment .
主要工作职责
• Engage in one to one scientific dialogue with external experts aroundGSK’s medicines and vaccines, enabling them to confidently discuss ourportfolio with patients and the wider medical community and ensuringthey are knowledgeable in identifying the right patient for the mostappropriate medicines and vaccines.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for Medical Information fromhealthcare providers in a fair, factual, balanced, and scientificallyrigorous manner via the appropriate and preferred channel.
• Foster a collaborative working relationship with MedicalRepresentatives and Commercial colleagues.
• Disseminate important safety information to healthcare professionalsas and when this emerges.
• Support GSK study teams with the provision of scientific education andenquiry management from investigators and staff engaged in GSK-supportedclinical trials e.g. Investigator-Sponsored Studies (ISS).
• Maintain a level of expertise in the evolving scientific / therapeuticarea and in competitor medicines.
• Attend scientific meetings and congresses to keep abreast of theevolving science in a therapy area and to confidently debate and discussthe science with external experts as presented at the meeting.
• Fully understand and comply with GSK standards and policies and withlocal codes of practice, guidelines and laws to ensure the strictestrequirements are met.

• Master’s Degree in medicine / pharmacy.
• Strong academic background having participated in, or led researchprojects and authored publications
• Effective communication skills and ability to tailor information todifferent audiences appropriately.
• Ability to translates complex science into simple messages.
• Solid grounding in clinical, medical and pharmaceutical science withthe ability to rapidly assimilate specific and detailed knowledge inthese areas.
• A sense of curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and development.
