We are looking for a highly motivated individual to build and leadAntibody Discovery team supporting therapeutic antibody discoverycampaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to join/lead the growingantibody discovery team and make a significant impact to expand antibodydiscovery capabilities. This role is for a hands-on, lab-based researchscientist with technical expertise in display technology, hybridomageneration, high throughput biochemical/in vitro assay screeningdevelopment. The candidate is expected to work in a highly collaborativeenvironment, to demonstrate initiative in solving difficult technicalchallenges, to be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously andsupport novel discovery programs.
Responsibilities :
Recruit and build Antibody Discovery team.
Design antibody discovery strategies using variety of techniques,including phage/yeast display, hybridoma and/or single B-cell sequencingto elicit diverse panels of antibodies.
Enable discovery strategies by building high throughput screeningcapabilities in supporting multiple projects.
Contribute to ideation on novel pipeline candidates includingantibodies, Fc fusion proteins, antibody fragments, bispecificantibodies, protein conjugates, protein-prodrugs, etc.
Effectively communicate project updates and ideas to the project teamsand management.
Staying abreast of the latest scientific and technology advancementsin the field. Continually evaluating and incorporating new technologiesto support antibody discovery, engineering and design.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or relateddiscipline with at least 3 years of hands-on experience either inindustry or academia.
Effective team builder/leader.
Expertise in antibody lead generation through displaytechnology/hybridoma and/or single B cell platforms.
Experience in the implementing novel antibody discovery platforms andhigh throughput screening .
A track record of scientific accomplishments and project leadership inbiologics drug development as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications,patents, or pipeline contributions.
Experience of working in cross-functional project teams providingscientific and technical expertise to ensure timely delivery ofengineered molecules.
Demonstrated track record of accomplishments, publications andconference presentations.
Excellent communication, organization, and technical writing skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
