Coding Officer 代码审核专员 (007987)

岗位职责:
• Checks all coding done by physicians to ensure proper coding.
• Codes services of questionable/new items and reviews proper codingwith coding supervisor. • Review medical records and assignICD-10-CM (Diagnosis) and CPT (Pricing) codes, based on episode of careand physician documentation, performs data abstracting and statistical reporting.
• Collaborates with physicians, clinical department providers andadministrative staff to provide technical assistance for codingquestions and to achieve accurate billing and reimbursement levels.

• Working knowledge of the English language
• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work long hours ifneeded.
• Must also possess excellent analytical & problem solving abilitiesas well as, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Requires ability to work well under pressure and the ability to workon multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Requires good time management, organizational and prioritizationskills.
• PC skills
• Minimum education- completion of Junior College
• Working experience with coding and/or reimbursement activities preferred
• Experience working in a healthcare organization
• Knowledge of commercial insurance industry procedures
