We invite applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in the Diabetes Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). The major research focus of our laboratory is to study hypothalamic regulation of body weight, hepatic lipid and glucose metabolism with the goal to understand the etiology of obesity, fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes. The successful candidate must be a recent Ph.D. graduate from a reputable university, and has a strong publication record. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for science, innovative thinking and the ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent communication skill is required.
