Dr. Valerie Reyna at Cornell University is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Scientist. This person will collaborate with and assist Dr. Reyna in research spanning neuroscience, judgment and decision-making, numeracy and quantitative reasoning, risk taking (e.g., in adolescence), medical decision making, false memory, and neurocognitive impairment. Responsibilities include training and supervising research assistants and students, running experiments, neuroimaging, data analysis, fMRI pre-processing, post-processing and statistical analysis, and grant and manuscript preparation.

The appointment is for one year, with potential for reappointment.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, judgment and decision-making, or related field; strength in research methods; promise as a research scholar; strong quantitative skills; excellent organizational skills; demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through; and an interest in behavioral neuroscience. Experience in fMRI analysis, including familiarity with relevant programs for statistical analysis, is preferred. Candidates should be hard workers and eager to learn, with a positive attitude.
