The Princeton Neuroscience Institute is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to pursue neuroanatomy in combination with quantitative behavioral assays to gain insights into the structure and function of developing neural circuits related to vocal production in a marmoset monkey model system. We are interested in techniques such as in situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry and tract tracing combined with CLARITY. Appointment is for one year with possibility of renewal based on availability of funding and satisfactory performance (start date as early as June 1, 2014). Preference will be given to applicants with experience in molecular biology, microscopy and neuroanatomy. Successful candidate will be hired through the Department of Psychology. Essential Qualifications: PhD in neuroscience, biology or a related field. Experience with microscopy, tissue staining, and tract tracing.
Preferred Qualifications: Computer programming (e.g., Matlab, Python).
