The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a non-tenure track research faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D degree and a strong record of post-doctoral research experience, including a credible publication and extramural funding record. The candidate will be required to maintain an extramurally funded independent research program in pharmaceutical, biomedical, or related sciences. There may also be opportunities to teach and mentor graduate students within the Doctor of Philosophy Program. Rank is dependent on qualifications. This is a fully funded and renewable position, but it is required that the successful candidate will bring at least a portion of their salary from extramural funds.

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is located on the Cecil B. Day Campus of Mercer University in northeast Atlanta, Georgia. The 335 wooded acres of the campus create a serene and secluded atmosphere in close proximity to downtown Atlanta. This location is ideal for fostering collaborative research with investigators at other institutions in Atlanta including Emory University School of Medicine, Georgia State University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
