Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral position availableimmediately at the Massachusetts General Hospital Athinoula A MartinosCenter for Biomedical Imaging (http://www.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu). This isa multidisciplinary collaboration between Massachusetts General Hospitaland Logan College of Chiropractic involving the application ofstate-of-the-art fMRI imaging methods to study the neuroplasticity andsomatotopy of chronic pain and its response to acupuncture therapy. Thecandidate will receive a joint appointment to Massachusetts GeneralHospital and Logan College of Chiropractic. Appointments are for oneyear, renewable for up to three years upon mutual agreement.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, otherbiological sciences or biomedical engineering. Experience in computerprogramming and image processing is essential. Familiarity with fMRIanalysis software including FSL, AFNI, and Freesurfer, as well asprogramming environments such as MATLAB is highly desirable.Massachusetts General Hospital and Logan College of Chiropractic areequal opportunity employers.
