BIOENGINEERING AND MICROSYSTEMS TECHOLOGY IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
TWO POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANTS – Wireless Lab-on-a-Pill for Microfludic Biosensing
We wish to appoint two Post-doctoral Research Assistants to work on a BBSRC funded project to integrate Lab-on-a-Chip and Microsystems (ASIC) technologies to produce a wireless remote Lab-on-a-Pill device to implement biosensing protocols in vivo.
13721/DPP/A3 will be either an Engineer, a Biologist or a Physical Scientist who has experience in either biosensing and or microfludics/Lab-on-a-Chip. Candidates with experience in electrochemistry or assay development should also apply.
13720/DPP/A3 will be an engineer with experience in ASIC design for low power wireless, instrumentation and or sensor technology.
In either case, you should either have completed the experimental work towards a doctorate, or already hold a doctorate with post-doctoral experience in a relevant field.
