Currently the University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Center on Aging has a post-doctoral position available for an individual experienced in the areas of hypoxia and ischemia research. Individuals with experience in cell culture models of hypoxia and experience with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to those individuals who have documented expertise working with models of cerebral ischemia and/or ischemia-reperfusion injury. The individual selected for this position will work on NIH funded grants looking at oxidative stress and modulation of the ubiquitin proteasome pathway in different models.
