Description
A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the area of myelin repair of the CNS using models of multiple sclerosis and the inherited myelin disorders. We are seeking a neuroscientist with a background in one or more of the following: glial cell/myelin biology, cell culture, cell transplantation and neuroimmunology. Previous experience with models of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) is desirable. We are part of a large group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison funded by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's "Myelin Repair and Neuroprotection" initiative.
The candidate must have at least two years of post-PhD experience and has published in significant journals. Applicants should be highly motivated, independent and have excellent communication skills.
